3 lifeless after bus, tractor-trailer collide in Virginia

Virginia State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left three folks lifeless early Friday morning in York County, Virginia.

Two industrial autos — a tractor-trailer and a passenger bus — collided round 1:38 a.m. within the eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 and the 241 mile marker. York County is about half an hour from Newport Information, Virginia.

Three fatalities had been confirmed by state police. Each drivers and remaining passengers on the bus had been being handled for varied accidents and have been taken to space hospitals for remedy.

In all, there have been 22 passengers on the bus. None had been sporting seatbelts, state police say.

The Virginia State Police Motor Provider Security Workforce and the Virginia State Police Chesapeake Division Crash Reconstruction Workforce responded to the scene to help with the investigation, which is ongoing.
