Lookers chairman Ian Bull to step down earlier than the brand new yr

Lookers has introduced that Ian Bull, chairman, will step down from its Board citing “private causes” with impact from 31 December 2022.

Paul Van der Burgh, senior impartial director will assume the position of interim non-executive chairman on 1 January 2023.

Sue Farr, non-executive director will assume the position of interim senior impartial director. The Board will now start a seek for a brand new chair.

Bull mentioned: “I’m sorry to be leaving at this thrilling time for Lookers, with the enterprise buying and selling nicely and persevering with to carry out strongly.

Paul Van der Burgh, senior impartial director, added: “Ian has been instrumental in serving to us to develop and implement our strategic priorities. I want to thank him on behalf of the Board and want him nicely for the longer term.”

The Group reported that it’s making robust progress within the supply of the strategic priorities.
